1. Warranty Overview
Phonext provides warranty for Apple devices sold through our channels. Warranty coverage may vary based on device condition:
- New sealed devices: covered by Apple's Limited Warranty (12 months)
- Other devices: covered by Phonext Commercial Warranty (12 months)
2. Apple Limited Warranty
New sealed Apple products include Apple’s Limited Warranty, which covers manufacturing defects for 12 months from activation. Apple may provide repair or replacement at its discretion. Apple’s warranty terms apply and may be accessed via Apple Support.
3. Phonext Commercial Warranty
Devices not covered by Apple’s Limited Warranty include a 12-month Phonext Commercial Warranty covering hardware defects unrelated to misuse.
4. Exclusions
Warranties do not cover:
- accidental damage (drops, water, impact)
- software tampering or jailbreak/root
- modifications not authorised by Phonext or Apple
- loss or theft
- cosmetic damage not affecting functionality
- damage caused by accessories or chargers not compliant with regulations
5. Dead on Arrival (DOA)
If a device is DOA (non-functional upon receipt), customers must notify Phonext within 48 hours with supporting evidence.
6. Proof of Purchase
Warranty claims require proof of purchase and IMEI/serial verification.
7. Ownership Condition
Devices under deferred payment agreements may require fulfilment of payment prior to permanent unlock or transfer of ownership. Warranty remains valid during the fulfilment period.
8. Warranty Remedies
Phonext may provide repair, replacement or partial/total refund (only when repair/replacement are unavailable).
